The PositionMaster EDP300 is an electronically configurable positioner with communication capabilities designed for mounting to linear or rotary actuators. Advanced performance 4 to 20 mA with HART.
The PositionMaster features a small and compact design, a modular construction, and an excellent cost-performance ratio. Fully automatic determination of the control parameters and adaptation to the positioner allow for considerable time savings as well as optimum control behavior. Because of its properties, the positioner is suited for even the most challenging operating conditions.
The actuator fits into natural-gas pipelines, air-handling units, and chemical processing lines. It works well in power-plant turbine control, HVAC systems that require exact damper positioning, and refinery feed-stock regulation. Anywhere a rotary valve must open or close with precision, the EDP300 can be installed. It also supports remote sensor setups for plants that monitor valve status from a central control room.
